Summer Vespers..

Jesus has his head in the clouds, or is this another fisherman? I like that there is no watermark, so the image is clear, The light gradations are excellent. The refractions on the waters surface simple yet very effective.
The white and purple seem the right colours to pick for the shell, religious and hermetic. And in nature I don't think purple when I think sea shell, although I know they exist. The shell itself is wonderfully ornate and a fascinating shape. IN fact, I might say the shell itself is sublime. As is the fall and fold of his robe. I wish I could see the definition in the feet. I belive the scan missed it. Is he standing on the ear of the universal sea?

The light / shadow on the rock in the bottom corner seems to hard so as to not blend and take away from the center.

I would like to see the shell centered in the yellow light, it would highlight the subject more. I wish the boat was moved out from the side and the boat shadow seems to be lacking a slight perspective? I would also like to see the shell in the center, or standing alone in the picture.
I wish there was a larger reflection or perhaps more defined.
Lastly, I wish the scan was sharper.
