Please, be kind.. My first REAL photomanipulation for DA.
Based on a painting of mine, sold a while ago, before I got the chance to photograph it...Ah, the irresponsibility of youth...
Anyway thanks :iconsnoosmumrik: for the photo of the pigeon, so exactly the same to the one I painted in the real painting...
Tut and me are old friends.. you can find other photos of him in my gallery..
The background is my beloved island of Corfu, from my terrace view.. may war never visit it again..

My photomanips are amateurish, I know but they will eventually be better I hope..Though I'll never be as good I am with brushes, colors and canvases..

I know you love Egypt but I would have loved Agamemnon's mask even better.
It is however an excellent piece.

Right in every word....I just wanted to resurect my painting of years back... I had a bad case of Egypt love then, lighter now... but you are right, Agamemnon's mask would be better without changing the message, even better stressing the point, since Agamemnon was a warrior, while Tut-Anch-Ammun nothing but..

Makes me wonder weather the Sphynx sterted from a disturbingly headless lion.

So this is how Corfu looks... As a fan of Durrell, I was planning to visit this place sometime soon.

A good thought about the Spinx... I probably should have used Agamemnon's funerary mask, as my friend Flordelys suggested (She is also of Greek origin...)
Corfu is all Durrell wrote and then some... But it all depends of the season you will come.. If it is out of the tourist madness, you will be a lover of this island forever... and if it happens while I am there, since I work in Athens for at least 6 years more and I visit my home in Corfu when I get the chance and the time, you will have the guide you need.....
